Lauren Herring (born July 23, 1993 ) is an American tennis player .

Career

Herring has so far mainly played at tournaments of the ITF Women's Circuit , in which she has so far won two singles and one double.

At the US Open in 2010 she started with Grace Min with a wildcard in a double competition ; they lost in the first round of the pairing Dominika Cibulková / Anastassija Pawljutschenkowa with 1: 6 and 4: 6.

In college tennis , Herring reached the quarter-finals in singles at the 2013 NCAA Division I Tennis Championships , in 2014 she was eliminated in singles in the second round, but was able to reach the finals in doubles with her partner Maho Kowase . In 2015 she failed in the single round one. At the end of 2015 she reached the semifinals of the American Collegiate Invitational 2015 , which is held for college players parallel to the US Open.

Herring played her last international tournament so far in July 2016. She is therefore no longer in the world rankings.
