Laurence Robert "Bobby" Kaapama (born September 15, 1983 in Windhoek , South West Africa ; † August 13, 2013 there ) was a Namibian football player .

Kaapama died at the age of 29 of unknown cause in his home in Windhoek-Katutura .

Career

Kaapama started his career in 2001 with the Hotflames Windhoek . He then tried his hand at the African Stars in the Namibian Premier League before signing a contract with the South African club Dynamos Polokwane on August 24, 2004 . After a year for Dynamos FC in the Premier Soccer League , he returned to Namibia in the summer of 2006 and signed for the United Africa Tigers . He was 10th with the club in the 2008/2009 season and a year later he only reached 9th place. After these mediocre years with the Tigers, he turned his back on his club and joined the Eleven Arrows . There he became a top performer and moved to the Civics in September 2010 .

Kaapama played in the Namibian national soccer team .
