Laurent Bonnart (born December 25, 1979 in Chambray-lès-Tours ) is a French football player .

Career

Laurent Bonnart started his career as a professional footballer in 1997 at Tours FC . After a convincing debut season and two goals in 16 appearances, the defender was signed by the ambitious second division UC Le Mans . There he was active as a regular for the next nine years and rose to Ligue 1 for the first time with the club .

In the summer of 2007 Bonnart was signed by the French Champions League participant Olympique Marseille . In the south of France, too, he was able to secure a place in the top team straight away. After winning the championship in 2010 , he left Olympique and moved to league rivals AS Monaco . With his new club he had to relegate at the end of the 2010/11 season . He then left the club and joined the reigning champions OSC Lille .
