Marie Laurent Fischer (born July 1, 1855 in Mittelschaeffolsheim , Canton of Münster; † February 28, 1913 ibid) was a German politician ( center ) and a member of the second chamber of the state parliament of Alsace-Lorraine .

Laurent Fischer was the son of the district council member Francois Joseph (1810-1893) and his wife Marie Catherine nee Fix (* 1823).

Laurent Fischer, who was a Catholic denomination , was a farmer and landowner . He attended elementary school and high school and served as a one-year volunteer . After that he was always active on his father's estate.

He was a member of the local council and from 1886 mayor of his hometown. From 1893 he was a member of the Lower Alsace District Assembly .

He ran for the center in the state elections in 1911 in the constituency of Brumath for the state parliament of the realm of Alsace-Lorraine . In the first ballot, 5,705 of the 6,711 eligible voters cast their vote. The winner of the first ballot was Fischer, who received 2,727 votes. Second was the liberal candidate Michael Baerst with 1,817 votes ahead of the Social Democrat Schmit Scott, who received 1,090 votes.

In the second ballot, Fischer prevailed with 3,096 (6,215 cast) votes against Baerst, who had received 3,055 votes.
