Laurent Mauvignier

Laurent Mauvignier (* 1967 in Tours ) is a French writer.

Life

Mauvignier studied fine arts at the École des Beaux-Arts in Tours and graduated in 1991 with a diploma. Since 1999 he has published several books with the Éditions de Minuit . From 2008 to 2009 Laurent Mauvignier was a fellow at the Villa Médici in Rome. The French director Patrice Chéreau is planning the film adaptation of the novel Des hommes (Eng .: The Wound ), which addresses the aftermath of the Algerian war in French society. Laurent Mauvignier currently lives in Toulouse .
