Prix ​​des Libraires

The Prix ​​des Libraires is a French literary prize for a novel published in French .

The prize has been awarded annually since 1955 by the Federation of French Libraries, Fédération française syndicale de la librairie (FFSL). Around 5000 libraries in France, but also in the French-speaking parts of Switzerland , Belgium and Canada vote by postal vote for the best novel of the year.

The award winner not only receives a medal, but his book is held and advertised by all French libraries.
