Marc Dugain (* 1957 in Dakar ) is a French writer , screenwriter and film director .

Life

Marc Dugain devoted himself entirely to writing after studying politics and working as a manager for Proteus Airlines . His eight novels to date have all been bestsellers in France.

His book La Chambre des officiers (Eng. The Officers Chamber ) was made into a film in 2001. Dugain had already received the Prix ​​des Deux Magots , the Prix ​​des Libraires and the Prix ​​Roger-Nimier for this book in 1999 .

In 2018, his film A Royal Exchange for the César was nominated for Best Foreign Film .
