Tobias Gohlis
Tobias Gohlis (* 1950 in Leipzig ) is a German journalist , literary critic and author . His journalistic focus is crime novel reviews and travel literature . Tobias Gohlis is the founder and spokesman of the KrimiZEIT best list .
Life
Tobias Gohlis grew up in Frankfurt am Main . He studied German , political science , philosophy and education at the Free University of Berlin . In the 1990s Gohlis mainly dealt with travel literature. In the 2000s he shifted his journalistic focus to criticizing crime literature. Tobias Gohlis has been working mainly as a freelance journalist for Die Zeit since 1990, and as the author of the crime column since 2001. Together with Thomas Wörtche he organized the two-day symposium making crime novels in Berlin in 2013 . Tobias Gohlis lives in Hamburg-Rahlstedt .
