geography

The Laurent River rises on the northern slope of the Morne Trois Pitons at Crête Palmiste , together with its source streams River Deux Branches and Warner River and runs north. To the east it borders on the catchment area of the Castle Bruce River . At Williams it turns to the west, takes up the two combined source streams at the foot of the Fond Mang and turns again to the north. After a winding course, where it receives a tributary from Morne Negres Marons (Morne Laurent), it flows into the Layou River at Bells , shortly after it has taken up the short River Dleau Manioc .
