Laurie Khan

Laurie Khan (actually Lawrence G. Khan; born June 14, 1943 ) is a former Jamaican sprinter who specialized in the 400-meter run .

In 1962 he won silver over 800 m at the Central America and Caribbean Games . At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth , he was eliminated over 440 yards in the run-up and won the Jamaican 4-by-440-yard relay.

At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, he reached the semifinals over 400 m and came in fourth place with the Jamaican 4-by-400-meter relay.

In 1966 he won silver over 800 m at the Central America and Caribbean Games . At the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston , he finished fourth in the 440-yard season.

He set his personal best of 46.7 s in 1965.
