history

The first store was opened in 1981 by Christian Knoop-Troullier in Hamburg Central Station , initially under the name “Le Croissant”. At the end of 1998, Le Crobag was taken over by the family-run Neuhauser Group based in Folschviller (France). Neuhauser also delivers the frozen dough blanks to the shops, which are then fermented and baked there. In the summer of 2014, Alfred Neuhauser sold his shares in the Neuhauser Group to the already active shareholder and long-term flour supplier, Groupe Soufflet , also based in France , which also took over the new management of Le Crobag . In March 2018, the Italian Autogrill SpA took over all shares in LE CROBAG GmbH & Co. KG.
