Lea Sophie Kunst (born December 18, 2001 in Varel ) is a German beach volleyball player .

Career

Kunst first played tennis before she came to volleyball through her mother and sister and began her career at Vareler TB. At the age of eleven she played her first beach volleyball tournament. In 2017 she formed a duo with Anna-Lena Grüne . Green / Art were runner-up in the U17 and U18. In 2018 they took part in the qualification for the Techniker Beach Tour 2018 in Nuremberg . At the U19 World Cup in Nanjing they came in ninth place. Then they became German U18 champions. With Svenja Müller , Kunst also won the U19 championship. In 2019, art played with changing partners. Kunst / Müller finished ninth in the U20 European Championship in Gothenburg . They also reached ninth place on the Techniker Beach Tour 2019 in Sankt Peter-Ording . In Fehmarn , art with Hanna-Marie Schieder took 13th place.
