Svenja Müller (born February 13, 2001 in Dortmund ) is a German beach volleyball player .
Career
In 2015 Müller played two U17 tournaments with Nele Hoja . Since 2016 she has formed a duo with Greta Klein-Hitpaß , with whom she won the U17 national cup . At the U18 European Championship in Brno in the same year she reached fourth place with Hanna Viemann . In 2017 Müller / Klein-Hitpaß played a few smaller tournaments and qualifications for the Smart Beach Cup. At the Techniker Beach Tour 2018 they competed in the qualification of the tournaments in Münster and Kühlungsborn . At the German championships they were third in the U20 and fifth in the U18. With Sarah Schulz , Müller finished ninth in the U20 European Championship in Anapa . With Lea Sophie Kunst , she won the U19 championship in Kiel-Schilksee in August . Then Müller / Kunst became U18 European champions in Brno. At the Techniker Beach Tour 2019 , Müller achieved a 13th place in Düsseldorf with Klein-Hitpaß and ninth place in Nuremberg with Schulz and Sankt Peter-Ording with art. At the U21 World Cup in Udon Thani , Müller / Schulz came fourth. A week later, Müller finished ninth with art at the U20 European Championship in Gothenburg . In August she managed to defend her title at the German U19 championship with Klein-Hitpaß. In June / July 2020 Müller and Karla Borger competed in the Beach League and won the competition in the final against Melanie Gernert and Sarah Schulz. At the beginning of August, Müller / Schulz qualified for the German championship via the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 .
Until the 2019/20 season, Müller also played as an outside attacker in indoor volleyball for the third division TV Hörde .
