Sarah Schulz (born August 19, 1999 in Nuremberg ) is a German beach volleyball player .

Career

Schulz played U17 tournaments with Anne Jansen in 2014 . In 2015 and 2016 she competed in other junior tournaments with changing partners. In July 2016 she competed with Marie Koloseus at the U19 World Cup in Larnaka . Then she and Friederike Adeberg in Dresden became German champion of the U18 and ninth of the U20 tournament. In 2017 she played German category 1 tournaments with various partners. In the German U19 championship, Adeberg / Schulz came third. Then Schulz formed a solid duo with Julika Hoffmann . At the U20 European Championship in Vulcano , the duo came in 17th. In June 2018 Schulz and Svenja Müller finished ninth at the U20 European Championships in Anapa . At the Techniker Beach Tour 2018 Hoffmann / Schulz came in 13th place in Kühlungsborn and ninth place in Sankt Peter-Ording . They were also ninth at the U22 European Championship in Jūrmala . At the Techniker Beach Tour 2019 , they reached 13th place in Münster and fifth place in Düsseldorf . In Nuremberg, Schulz played with Müller and finished ninth. At the U21 World Cup in Udon Thani , the duo came in fourth. At the U22 European Championship in Antalya, Hoffmann / Schulz only lost in the final against the Russians Botscharowa / Voronina . In the national tournament series, ninth places followed in Sankt Peter-Ording, Fehmarn , Zinnowitz and Kühlungsborn. Hoffmann / Schulz thus qualified for the 2019 German championship , in which they finished 13th.

In June / July 2020 Schulz competed with Melanie Gernert in the Beach League and lost in the final to Karla Borger and Svenja Müller . At the beginning of August, Müller / Schulz qualified for the German championship via the Comdirect Beach Tour 2020 .

Until 2018 Schulz also played indoor volleyball for the regional league team TGM Mainz-Gonsenheim .
