Leandro Fonseca (born February 14, 1975 in Jaboticabal , São Paulo ) is a Brazilian football player ( striker ).
Career
At FC Carl Zeiss Jena Leandro played in the third-class Regionalliga Nordost in the 1994/95 season , but made no lasting impression with just one appearance at his first stop in Germany. But already in 1999/2000, after stints in Switzerland, he was now in the German elite class, the Bundesliga , for SSV Ulm 1846 . After Ulm was relegated, he stayed with the club for another year. However, when the fall into amateur football was certain, he switched to the Young Boys in Bern . There he scored 17 goals and 16 assists in one season , after which he moved back to the Bundesliga, this time to Hannover 96 . However, he was unable to prevail, partly due to injuries, and after one season he moved to Zurich city club Grasshopper . Due to injury, he was only able to play eleven games at GC in which he did not score a goal. In the summer of 2006 he moved to the Bernese Oberland for FC Thun , but scored only two goals in 18 games. From July 2007 to the end of 2008 he played for Yverdon-Sport FC and scored 15 goals in 33 games in the 2007/2008 season. From January 2009 to May 2010 he played for various clubs in Brazil and then ended his career.
