Leandro Müller

Leandro Müller (born November 14, 1978 in Juiz de Fora , Brazil) is a Brazilian writer.

Life

Leando Müller attended the State University of Rio de Janeiro , where he graduated in journalism, advertising and publishing. He also took courses in philosophy at the State University of Rio de Janeiro and the University of Porto. Since 2004 he has also devoted himself to writing and works as a publisher and bookseller.

In 2006 Leandro Müller published his first novel “O Código Aleijadinho” (The Code of Aleijadinho ), a political thriller set in five historic cities in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais and about various Brazilian art-historical figures.

In 2008 he was awarded the “Prémio Máster en Edición do Santillana Formación ” in Spain for his work “Pequeño Tratado Hermético sobre Efectos de Superficie” (Small Hermetic Treatise on the Effects of Superficiality) . This literary work was published in the same year by the historical publishing house of the University of Salamanca "Ediciones Universidad Salamanca". In the book there is a suburb of the Spanish writer Enrique Vila-Matas .
