Leandro Ricardo Vieira (born April 3, 1979 in Santo André (São Paulo) , Brazil ) is a former Brazilian soccer player .

Career

The 1.79 meter tall midfielder began his career in 2000 with the club Coritiba FC , he was under contract for three years; In 2001 he was loaned to the Deportivo Pasto club. In 2004 he signed a contract in the second division with the club Kyōto Sanga . During his playing time, he completed one game. In 2005 he moved to Switzerland with his compatriots Adriano Pimenta , Tiago Bernardi and Adriano Spadoto . There the four signed a contract in the first division with FC Thun . In the UEFA Cup 2005/06 he failed with the club in the round of 32 at Hamburger SV . In 2006 he turned his back on the club and moved to the second Czech division for club FK Teplice . He was injured in a game in October 2008 and has not been active since.
