Lebrecht Otto Moritz Wichard Hugo Graf zu Rantzau (born September 20, 1890 in Alt Döberitz , Regenwalde district ; † March 20, 1920 ) was a German district administrator .

Life

Lebrecht zu Rantzau studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In 1908 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . In 1911 he passed the legal traineeship exam. During the First World War he participated as a lieutenant in the reserve of the guard machine gun division 2 and later as the leader of a machine gun company in the reserve infantry regiment 240 on the western front. He was seriously wounded twice. In 1918 he passed the assessor examination and in November of the same year was appointed representative of the sick district administrator in the district of Freystadt i. Lower Silesian. offset. In 1919 he was appointed district administrator . He held the office until his death in 1920.
