Lee Brimmicombe-Wood

Lee Brimmicombe-Wood (born December 7, 1963 in London ) is an English book author and board game author and computer game developer.

Career

For the company GMT Games he developed the board games Downtown: The Air War Over Hanoi, 1965-1972 and The Burning Blue: The Battle of Britain, 1940 . In the sales department of Kuju Entertainment , he developed the war simulations Team Apache and Ka-52 Team Alligator for the PC. As a designer he worked on the game Fire Warrior , which is based on the Warhammer 40,000 series from Games Workshop . He also designed the Microsoft Train Simulator . In 2007 he finished his work on Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics , which Atari commissioned for the Playstation Portable .

His only book so far is the Colonial Marines Technical Manual , which deals in detail with the tactics and technical equipment of the soldiers from James Cameron's film Aliens - The Return . The book was published by Boxtree in 1995 and is now a sought-after collector's item.
