Lee Chun-soo (born July 9, 1981 in Incheon ) is a South Korean football player .

Lee Chun-soo started his career in South Korea with Ulsan Tigers . At the 2002 World Cup he drew attention to himself. Real Sociedad San Sebastián signed him and he became the first South Korean in the Primera División . However, he could not assert himself and after a short interlude with CD Numancia he returned to Ulsan Tigers in South Korea. In the summer of 2006 he turned down an offer from Portsmouth FC . In early September 2007 he then moved to the Dutch club Feyenoord from Rotterdam for an estimated transfer fee of 2 million euros .

Lee Chun-soo was a key player in the national team during the 2002 and 2006 World Championships and the 2004 Olympic Games . In 2002 he published a book about the World Cup in which he criticized Guus Hiddink for his vulgar language and several teammates.
