Lee Sang-bok

Lee Sang-bok ( kor. 이상복 ; born March 17, 1968 ) is a former badminton player from South Korea .

Career

Lee Sang-bok took part in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona as the highlight of his career . In the men's doubles, he came fifth there. He lost it in the quarterfinals with Shon Jin-hwan against Eddy Hartono and Rudy Gunawan from Indonesia with 9:15 and 8:15. Lee Sang-bok also took part in the Olympics in 1988, when badminton was a demonstration sport in the program. There he won silver in the men's doubles with Lee Kwang-jin .

Lee Sang-bok won international titles at the US Open , the Japan Open and the Malaysian Open . At the All England 1989 Lee Kwang-jin won the men's doubles with Park Joo-bong . A year later he triumphed in Hungary in doubles and mixed. In 1991 he achieved this feat at the Hong Kong Open .
