Lee Soo-man (born June 18, 1952 in Seoul ) is the founder of SM Entertainment .
biography
Lee Soo-man attended the prestigious Gyeongbok High School and the also renowned Seoul National University , where he studied agricultural engineering.
In 1997 he founded his own label and talent agency with SM Entertainment .
In 2010 its stake in SM Entertainment increased from 18.3 million to 54.8 million US dollars. With a personal fortune of over US $ 230 million, Lee Soo-man is now one of the richest South Koreans in the entertainment industry.
