reception

Karsten Schubert from the German trade magazine Funime criticizes the sometimes poor quality of the drawings, the characters are depicted roughly and with little color. However, the music was quite successful. The plot doesn't offer much new, but would at least go down well with fans of Record of Lodoss War . In the AnimaniA other hand, is a "lame story without stress buildup and without narrative dynamics" of the question. Character design, drawings, animations and soundtrack are superficial and inappropriate, and the overall staging is completely unspectacular. On the other hand, unnecessary action and brutality were not spared. At least for pure action fans, the film offers something.
