Leif Erichsen (born October 15, 1888 in Drammen , † March 4, 1924 there ) was a Norwegian sailor .
successes
Leif Erichsen, who sailed for Kongelig Norsk Seilforening , won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 in the 6-meter class according to the International Rule of 1907. He was a crew member of the Marmi , whose crew also consisted of skipper Einar Torgersen and Andreas Knudsen . In three races, the Marmi initially failed to cross the finish line before taking second and finally first place. With seven total points, Erichsen finished the regatta in second place behind the Belgian boat Edelweiß II from skipper Émile Cornellie and ahead of the second Norwegian boat Stella .
