Leilani Dowding (born January 30, 1980 in Bournemouth ) is a British beauty queen and actress.
biography
Dowding grew up with a sister in Bournemouth. Her mother is Filipino and her father is British . She attended St. Peter's School and then studied economics at Royal Holloway University in London and the University of Surrey . In 1998 she won the Miss Great Britain election . In the same year she took part in the Miss Universe election in Hawaii as the first British woman with Asian ancestors . She broke off her studies in favor of a career as a model . Originally she didn't plan to take nude photos, but ended up as a page 3 girl in the tabloid The Sun in 1999 . In 2003 she reached number 89 on the world list of the FHM 100 Sexiest Women Awards .
In the following years, Dowding was seen in a variety of British film and television productions, including A. in This Morning , Faking It , Celebrity Wrestling and Celebrity Fear Factor but also in the US reality show Tough Love Miami .
At the beginning of the 2010s, things got quieter around dowding. She made troop visits to strengthen the morale of the British units in Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Cyprus.
Dowding appeared in the 2016 documentary short film Eating Friends: Korean Boknal Dog Meat Industry , which speaks out against the consumption of dog meat .

Dowding positions itself as a vegetarian , animal rights activist, dog and horse owner. She was engaged to the soccer players Mark Williams and Jérémie Aliadière and married to Richard Palmer . After several failed relationships, she increasingly turned to the Church of Scientology .
