Leilani Rorani (born April 15, 1974 in Auckland as Leilani Joyce ) is a former New Zealand squash player .
Career
Leilani Rorani began her professional career in 1990. In 1997 she was world champion in doubles with Philippa Beams and won the bronze medal at the World Games . In addition, she was twice vice world champion in 2000 and 2001 . In 2000 she lost to her compatriot Carol Owens in Edinburgh with 9: 6, 9: 5, 7: 9, 5: 9 and 9: 6. A year later she lost against the Australian Sarah Fitz-Gerald with 9: 0, 9: 3 and 9: 2. From November 2000 to September 2001 she was at the top of the world rankings. She won the British Open in 1999 and 2000. She was New Zealand national champion four times . She was a regular for the New Zealand national team for many years . At the Commonwealth Games 2002 Leilani Rorani won the gold medal both in doubles with Carol Owens and in mixed with Glen Wilson . After the games, she ended her career. In 2009 she was inducted into the New Zealand Squash Hall of Fame .

Leilani Rorani married Blair Rorani in 2002, with whom she has four children. She played under her new name since they got married.
