The Leimattbach is a 1 kilometer long stream in the Baselland . It joins the Klusbach from the right to the west of Aesch .

The Leimattbach rises at an altitude of about 489 m above sea level. M. in a small forest in the Stellimatt corridor south of Pfeffingen BL . It first flows a good hundred meters northwest through forest terrain and then joins the corridor In der Holle with a second, eastern source branch. The combined stream now runs northwards past the Hangelimatt reservoir , then is fed by a small inlet on its left side. It then passes underground Verdolt Pfeffingen and then reappears on the surface about one hundred and fifty meters north of the village. It now flows on the border between the Bachmat and Bachagger fields through a small forest and then through an agricultural area. The soils here are lime brown soils . His way now leads through the eponymous corridor Leimatt . The Leimattbach finally flows out at an altitude of about 335 m above sea level. M. west of Aesch BL in the Brunnmatt corridor from the right into the Klusbach .

The Leimattbach is a natural stream. It only overturned in its middle section. Its water flow is low in summer.
