The Leinbach is an approximately 1.3 km long left tributary of the Dernbach in the district of Südliche Weinstrasse , state of Rhineland-Palatinate .

The Leinbach runs in the southern part of the central Palatinate Forest . Its source is on the southern slope below Neuscharfeneck Castle . From there it flows in a westerly direction. 250 meters before the village of Dernbach , it changes its direction to the northwest. After a further 600 meters, it changes its direction of flow again and flows south to Dernbach. In the village itself, the Leinbach flows into the Dernbach from the left.
