It is located on the west side of Leipziger Straße in Magdeburg's Sudenburg, in a corner at the confluence with Hellestraße. The building, which is also listed, borders on Leipziger Straße 2 to the south .

History and architecture

The five-storey building was built as a brick construction around 1880/1890. The eight-axis facade is representatively structured and designed in the neo-baroque style. The outside of the facade is highlighted by means of pilasters in the form of risalits .

In the local register of monuments , the residential and commercial building is listed as a monument under registration number 094 82736 .

The building is a typical example of a large apartment building from the Wilhelminian era and, due to its corner location and in connection with the neighboring house at Leipziger Strasse 2, is a defining feature of the street scene.
