history

Leipziger Volksbank eG emerged in 2013 from the merger of Volksbank Leipzig eG with VR Bank Leipziger Land eG. The predecessor banks were founded in 1856 and 1860 respectively. In 2017, Leipziger Volksbank eG merged with Raiffeisenbank Torgau eG.
