(1993)

Leisure is the debut album by British rock band Blur . It was released in England on August 26, 1991, and a month later in the United States with a slightly changed track list .

description

On Leisure you can hear the influences of Shoegaze and Manchester Rave , which were at their peak in the UK when the album was made. Damon Albarn still sings with a lot of reverb and echo effects in his voice and the songs all seem very worn and transfigured. With the second single, There's No Other Way , Blur already reached the top 10 of the British singles charts and received initial echoes in the USA and Germany.
