The Leite near Harras nature reserve is located in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia .
It extends southwest, south and southeast of Harras , a district of Eisfeld . The Werra flows north and the B 89 runs, while the A 73 runs to the east . The border with Bavaria runs along the southern edge of the area .
