The Gleichberge nature reserve is the largest nature reserve in the Hildburghausen district in Thuringia . It extends east of the core town of Römhild , through the northern part runs the state road L 1132. To the west of the area runs the L 1131, to the east the L 1133 and the L 2673. To the south flows the Spleen , a right tributary of the Franconian Saale . The area has a large overlap with the bird sanctuary of the same name and the FFH area of ​​the same name.
