The Lekander Nunatak is a 1815 m high nunatak in Queen Elizabeth Land in West Antarctica . In the southern Patuxent Range of the Pensacola Mountains it rises 3 km northeast of the Bessinger Nunatak on the southwestern edge of the Mackin Table .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Bryant Alexander Lekander (1929-2005), cook on the Amundsen-Scott- South Pole Station in the Antarctic winter of 1960.
