Lena Große Scharmann (born April 24, 1998 in Möhringen ) is a German volleyball player.

Career

Große Scharmann initially played handball . In 2011 she started at the Schickhardt-Gymnasium Stuttgart , an elite school for sports, with volleyball. With the team of the federal base she played in the regional league. Then she came to the second team of Allianz MTV Stuttgart , with whom she played in the Second League South until 2016. In the 2016/17 season, the diagonal attacker and junior national player was active in the youth team VC Olympia Berlin . Then she returned to the second team in Stuttgart. In 2018 she moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga NawaRo Straubing . With the club she reached the quarter-finals of the DVV Cup and tenth place in the Bundesliga in the 2018/19 season . From the 2020/2021 season, Lena Große Scharmann will return to Stuttgart and play in the first team of Allianz MTV Stuttgart.
