Lena Haselmann

Lena Haselmann (* 1983 in Heidelberg ) is a German-Norwegian opera , lied and concert singer ( mezzo-soprano ). She became known u. a. through engagements at the State Opera Unter den Linden and the Teatro alla Scala .

Life

Haselmann grew up in Neckargemünd and studied singing and vocal pedagogy at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Mannheim and at the Nuremberg-Augsburg University of Music . In the following, she concentrated primarily on the interpretation of song compositions from the Scandinavian region as well as contemporary works. She did her doctorate at the State University for Music and Performing Arts Mannheim on the professionalization of music education in Norway .

Teaching

From 2016 to 2019 she was a lecturer in singing and vocational didactics at the Saar University of Music and became professor of classical singing at the Institute for Music at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences in 2019 .
