Lena Weiss (born June 2, 1995 in Heidelberg ) is a German soccer player who plays for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga .
Career
society
Lena Weiss took a liking to soccer very early on, she was five years old at the time and played with the boys in kindergarten. When the boys went to a club, she went too. At FV Fortuna Kirchfeld , she played with the boys up to C-youth. In the summer of 2010 she moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, where she played in the first year of the U-17 B-Juniors in the EnBW Oberliga. On August 28, 2011, she has just turned 16, she played for the first team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim and made her debut in the 2nd Bundesliga South at the away game against 1. FFC 08 Niederkirchen , when she was in the starting XI and played 90 minutes. In the same season she not only played for the first team in the 2nd Bundesliga South, she also played for the U-17 B-Juniors and reached the final with them on June 10, 2012, which was in the Dietmar Hopp Stadium was played in Sinsheim against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam . Here she and her team won the German championship of the B-Juniors in 2012 . In the following season she only played for the first team in the 2nd Bundesliga South and was able to celebrate promotion to the 1st Bundesliga at the end of the season .

National team
On July 29, 2009 she made her debut for the German U-15 selection . Two years later on October 18, 2011, she made her debut in the U-17 selection . On November 21, 2012, she played her first game for the German U-19 team when she came on for Jacqueline Klasen in the 60th minute of the game against Sweden .
