Lena Yada (also Leena Yada , formerly Ninja Yada ) (born November 12, 1978 in Honolulu , Hawaii ) is a Japanese - American model , actress , surfer and wrestler . She is currently working as a background reporter at WWE .

Life

On January 4, 2008, Yada began her active in-ring career as a wrestler. In 2008 she played matches for World Wrestling Entertainment and Florida Championship Wrestling . In 2009 a match for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), National Wrestling Alliance Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Revolution followed. Yada was temporarily assigned as a manager to the wrestlers Layla El and Lisa Marie Varon . She was also a WWE Diva.

As a surfer, she and Jason Lusk ranked 7th on the International Surfing Association (ISA) tour in 2006 . The results in the following years were 13th place in 2007 and 16th in 2008. In 2008 she reached 27th place with Lusk at the World Tandem Tour (WTT). In August 2007 she reached the quarter finals of the World Title of Tandem Surfing in tandem surfing alongside Jason Lusk.

In addition to her sports careers, Yada was named Miss Hawaiian Tropic Japan . On September 25, 2011 she married the singer of the band Disturbed , David Draiman .
