Von Goedeke is interested in the physical and metaphorical properties of materials, their potential as knowledge carriers, and often deals with surface structures. She uses a wide variety of materials such as cement sand, ceramics, marble or furniture ceilings, uses 3D programs and has developed her own language in Cut Out . Art and science are in constant exchange. Their works are conceptually complex, but they show one thing in common: The visualization of data, physical or social phenomena through material transformation and analog processing. After research trips to the Arctic in 2019, her work in installations , photography and ceramics focuses on making the changes in the world and perception through the climate catastrophe visible .
