Leo Becker

Leo Becker (born March 14, 1840 in Berlin , † December 8, 1886 in Gut Neidenburg) was the manor owner, district administrator and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Becker was educated in Schnepfenthal near Gotha and attended Werdersche Gymnasium in Berlin until 1857 . Between 1864 and 1866 he attended the agricultural academies in Proskau and Eldena . From 1857 to 1864 he practically learned agriculture in various economies in East Prussia, the Mark and Silesia and in 1866 took over his own goods. As Premier-Lieutenant in the Landwehr he was involved in the wars of 1866 and 1870/71. From 1876 he was district deputy of the Neidenburg district and member of the provincial parliament of the province of East Prussia , from 1882 to 1886 he was district administrator in Neidenburg.

From 1878 to 1883 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the Reichstag electoral district of Königsberg 8 and the German Reich Party .
