Carl Donath

Carl Donath (born July 18, 1819 in Marienwerder ; † 1877 ) was a landowner and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Donath attended the Marienwerder grammar school and passed the Abitur examination at Easter 1838. He was a farmer and landowner on Rutkowitz near Soldau in the Neidenburg district in East Prussia. In 1874 he was a member of the Prussian Provincial Parliament and from 1874 to 1877 he represented the Reichstag electoral district of Königsberg 8 for the German Progressive Party .
