Georg Reinhold Stein von Kamienski (* July 23, 1836 on Gut Grasnitz, Osterode district in East Prussia ; † April 2, 1921 there ) was a Prussian landowner and politician.

He came from a Polish noble family von Stein , whose line of tribe begins in the 17th century and came to Prussia with Jacob Kamieński called Jackstein in the 18th century, and was the son of Georg August Stein von Kamienski (1795–1840).

Stein von Kamienski studied at the University of Heidelberg and became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia there . His first marriage was on June 25, 1872 at Gut Schönberg ( Rosenberg district , West Prussia ) Margarethe Countess Finck von Finckenstein (born June 26, 1852 at Gut Schönberg; † December 31, 1891 at Gut Grasnitz), the daughter of the royal Prussian lieutenant and Chamberlain Konrad Count Finck von Finckenstein , Fideikommissherr at Gut Schönberg, and Anna Countess von Kanitz. His second marriage was on April 17, 1894 at Gut Simnau ( Mohrungen district , East Prussia ) Marie Countess Finck von Finckenstein (* July 7, 1856 at Gut Simnau; † March 31, 1926 at Gut Grasnitz), the daughter of the royal Prussian lieutenant Albrecht Count Finck von Finckenstein, landlord on Simnau, and Agnes von Kuehnheim (Haus Spanden).

Life

Stein von Kamienski was Fideikommissherr on Gut Grasnitz and legal knight of the Order of St. John . From 1871 to 1874 and from 1893 to 1898 he was a member of the Reichstag , where he represented the Reichstag constituency of Königsberg 8 . Stein belonged to the faction of the German Conservative Party . He was a member of the Prussian manor house .
