The Stein von Kamienski family is an originally Polish noble family, which also reached the Prussian nobility.

history

The secure line of tribe begins with Stanislaus Kamieński († 1699), whose son Jacob settled in Prussia. On June 15, 1802, the Prussian nobility recognition "Stein von Kamienski" took place for the Privy Council of War and later District President of Bromberg Johann Salomo Jackstein Another on February 15, 1819 for his brother, the royal Prussian councilor in Karthaus (near Danzig) George Friedrich Jackstein , Mr. von Wyczechowo, Groß-Czapielken and Fietschau in the Gdansk district.

The coat of arms shows a golden horseshoe , open at the top, on a blue background , in which there is a silver cross . The helmet covers are blue and gold. The crest shows a hawk holding the horseshoe with the cross in its muzzle.
