Leonard Peterson
Leonard S. Peterson (born before 1975) is a sound engineer .
Life
Peterson began his career in the mid-1970s and had his film debut in 1975 with the John Wayne - Western With Dynamite and Pious Sayings by Stuart Millar . 1976 he worked for Robert Wise's disaster movie The Hindenburg together with John L. Mack , John A. Bolger Jr. and Don Sharpless for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Steven Spielberg's horror film Jaws .
From the end of the 1970s, Peterson was only involved in smaller, or B-movie productions. An exception to this was Blake Edwards ' satire SOB - Hollywood's Last Howler , which was, however, a flop. In addition to his work on feature films, he also worked on a few television productions, including the miniseries Roots . For this he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy in 1977 .
