Leonardas Kęstutis Jaskelevičius
Leonardas Kęstutis Jaskelevičius (born July 7, 1945 in Žeimiai , Varėna district ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
Leonardas Kęstutis Jaskelevičius studied at the Trakai boarding school . After graduating from high school in Lentvaris near Trakai in 1962 , he completed his degree in economics at the Vilniaus universitetas in Vilnius in 1969 . From 1980 he studied forest science at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija near Kaunas . In 1966 he worked in the Lentvaris factory in Matuizos near Varėna , and from 1982 to 1986 as a district forester in Širvintos and Druskininkai .
From 1987 to 1989 Jaskelevičius was a research associate at the Economic Institute of Lietuvos moksl Wirtschafts akademija . He received his doctorate in economics and from 1990 was a farmer in the Trakai district . From 1992 to 1996 he was a member of the Seimas . From 1997 he worked at Lietuvos žemės ūkio rūmai and taught at Vilniaus kooperacijos kolegija and in the center Buivydiškės of Vilniaus kolegija .
From 1991 Leonardas Kęstutis Jaskelevičius was a member of the LDDP and from 2002 the LSDP .
