Eugen Wilhelm Leonhard (Carl) von Prittwitz (born June 22, 1799 in Ponoschau , † August 29, 1875 in Nieder-Heyersdorf ) was a German landowner from the Prittwitz family , judge and politician .

Leonhard von Prittwitz was the son of the Rittmeister Bernhard Otto Carl von Prittwitz and his wife Caroline Wilhelmine Friederike, née von Diebitsch. Von Prittwitz, who was a Protestant denomination, married Pauline Charlotte Wilhelmine von Uechtritz and Steinkirch (born March 27, 1810 in Siegda; † December 10, 1862 in Nieder-Heyersdorf), the daughter of the Prussian , on July 13, 1830 in Siegda, Wohlau district Captain Karl von Uechtritz and Steinkirch .

Von Prittwitz studied law in Heidelberg, among other places. In 1823 he became a city court ausculator in Trachenberg and later a public prosecutor in Bunzlau . He was also a public prosecutor there while he was a member of parliament. After 1860 he was an appellate judge in Breslau and then a higher regional judge in Glogau . He was the master of Nieder-Heyersdorf and Kabel.

In 1850 he was a member of the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament . From 1855 to 1861 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the constituency of Liegnitz 4 .
