Leonhardshaun is a district of the Ergoldsbach market in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut .

location

Leonhardshaun is located about three kilometers southeast of Ergoldsbach between Martinshaun and Osterhaun, with which it has already grown together.

history

In early records from the 14th century about Haun , no distinction is made between Leopoldshaun and Martinshaun. 1579 is shown on the map of Philipp Apian Martinshaun and Leonhardshaun with their own churches.

In 1752 Leonhardshaun consisted of the inn and the pilgrimage church. In 1849 it is referred to as a hamlet with two houses and eleven inhabitants. On November 18, 1861 the inn and the church tower burned down, the church was saved by the cooperation of the cooperator.

Leonhardshaun belonged to the municipality of Martinshaun and was incorporated into the Ergoldsbach market on January 1, 1978. The golf course of the Leonhardshaun Golf Club, located south of the village, was opened in 2010.

Attractions

  • Pilgrimage Church of St. Leonhard. It dates from the 15th century and was changed by renovations in the 18th century. The altars were built around 1740.
