Iffelkofen is a district of the Ergoldsbach market in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut .

Iffelkofen is located on the Goldbach and on the federal road 15 about one kilometer north of Ergoldsbach, with which it is connected via the places in between Jellenkofen and Prinkofen .
history
The local history of Iffelkofen goes back to the 11th century. 1263 exchanged Bishop Leo Thundorferstraße of Regensburg with Eberhard von Kläham a Hube in Ivenchoven . On April 23, 1519, Bartholomäus Armannsberger zu Ellenbach handed over the Peudtlhausser Hof zu Iffelkofen to him as part of an exchange of goods with Mallersdorf Monastery . In the year of conscription in 1752, Iffelkofen consisted of twelve properties. It belonged to the Landshut Rent Office and Kirchberg Court .
Iffelkofen was subordinate to the district court Rottenburg, later the district court Mallersdorf. As part of the municipality of Prinkofen, Iffelkofen was incorporated into the Ergoldsbach market as part of the regional reform in Bavaria on January 1, 1972.
