Leopard Automobile is a Polish sports car manufacturer based in the eastern Polish city ​​of Mielec .

History of the company

The company was founded in 1996 in Warsaw by the Polish automobile designer Zbysław Szwaj , the Swedish automobile enthusiast Alf Näslund , Rolf Skog and Karsten Werntoft. Leopard Automobile is currently offering a 6-liter roadster called "Leopard", which was first presented in 2005 at the Paris Motor Show. The car continues the tradition of the Polish sports car manufacturer Gepard , which produced the Gepard GP 8 roadster until 1995 .

CAR Technology takes a majority stake in Leopard

At the beginning of 2008, CAR Technology , an engineering service provider with branches in Germany, Poland and Slovakia, took a 51% stake in the Polish / Swedish sports car manufacturer Leopard.

In addition to the expansion of its development portfolio, CAR Technology , which is mainly active in automotive development, expects to increase its profile.
