Leopold Heinrich

Leopold Heinrich (born June 20, 1830 in Karlsruhe ; † January 17, 1891 there ) was a German architect .

Life

Heinrich studied architecture at the Karlsruhe Polytechnic under Heinrich Hübsch . He was the chief building officer and architect of the buildings of the General Directorate of the State Railways. He was also an extraordinary member of the grand ducal building management. In the meantime he was a teacher at the Polytechnic.

His last buildings included the renovation and expansion of the passenger station in Karlsruhe and the high-rise buildings of the Stüblingen- Immendingen railway . He worked on the plans for a newer, larger passenger station in Baden-Baden , but died before implementation.
